How is the recovery after surgery?
Breathing should return to normal once swelling goes down, usually 10 to 14 days after surgery.You need to fight for at least 1-2 weeks to completely get rid of the problems/effects caused by tonsillectomy surgery. While pain medication will ease discomfort as much as possible, other symptoms are expected. They may include: 1 ) Soreness 2 ) Nausea 3 ) Lack of appetite 4 ) Fatigue and the need for sleep. Air travel in the first two weeks after surgery is not advised.5 People who have to fly regularly for work-related reasons should plan to avoid travel for at least this long.If not Air Travel can delay the recovery.
