About Cintapro Tablet
Cintapro Tablet is a prescription medicine used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (acid reflux) and indigestion. It helps by indirectly stimulating the release of a chemical messenger that increases intestinal motility. When food and acid flow back into your food pipe (esophagus), it causes gastroesophageal reflux disease. Indigestion leads to bloating due to excess acid and gas. Cintapro Tablet contains Cinitapride that works by increasing the pressure of the inferior esophageal sphincter to prevent food and acid from flowing back into the mouth.
It is recommended to take Cintapro Tablet as per your doctor's instructions, after meals. The dosage will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. To avoid symptoms reoccurring and worsening, it's vital to continue the treatment for the duration advised by your doctor. If you experience side effects like headache or nausea, they are usually temporary and will resolve with time. However, persistent side effects should be discussed with your doctor. In cases of diarrhea, it is suggested to consume plenty of fluids to prevent dehydration.
Before taking Cintapro Tablet, inform your doctor about any kidney or liver diseases you may have to ensure the suitable dose is prescribed. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should also consult their doctor before using this medication. Individuals with a history of gastrointestinal bleeding, obstruction, or certain movement disorders should inform their healthcare provider before taking Cintapro Tablet.
CINTAPRO 1MG TABLET, another variant of Cinitapride, is used for gastroesophageal reflux disease and gastrointestinal motility disorders. It is not recommended for use in patients allergic to Cinitapride or with certain medical conditions like gastrointestinal bleeding, obstruction, or prior neuroleptic-induced movement disorders. Before taking CINTAPRO 1MG TABLET, inform your doctor about any allergies, liver or kidney diseases, and if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or below 18 years of age.
Common side effects of Cintapro and CINTAPRO 1MG TABLET include abdominal discomfort, nausea, and diarrhea. If these symptoms worsen, it is advisable to consult your doctor. As a safety precaution, avoid alcohol consumption while taking these medications as it can potentially increase drowsiness and stomach acid production.
