About Calten D-500 Tablet

Calten D-500 Tablet contains a balanced combination of calcium carbonate, sourced from oyster shell, and vitamin D3. Calcium is crucial for the body as it helps to normalize nerves, cells, muscles, and bones. When there is insufficient calcium in the blood, the body takes calcium from the bones, which weakens them. Therefore, adequate calcium intake is essential to maintain strong bones. On the other hand, vitamin D aids the body in absorbing calcium and phosphorus. The right levels of vitamin D, calcium, and phosphorus are vital for building and maintaining strong bones.

This dietary supplement is particularly beneficial for pregnant women after 12 weeks of pregnancy to support bone formation and the baby's development. It is also used in conditions such as osteoporosis and postmenopausal osteoporosis. Calten D-500 Tablet belongs to the class of nutritional supplements and is mainly used to treat low blood calcium levels. It effectively addresses various conditions caused by low calcium levels in the body, including Vitamin D deficiency, osteoporosis, hypoparathyroidism, latent tetany, rickets, and osteomalacia.

Calten D-500 Tablet contains Calcium and Cholecalciferol (Vitamin D3). Calcium is a mineral essential for preventing or treating calcium deficiency, providing necessary nutrients for bone formation and maintenance. Cholecalciferol, a form of Vitamin D, helps maintain blood calcium and phosphorus levels and bone mineralization, thereby preventing and treating bone disorders such as rickets and osteomalacia. The dosage of Calten D-500 Tablet is determined by your medical condition and is generally considered safe to consume, with side effects like constipation and stomach upset being mild and temporary.

If you have allergies to any components of Calten D-500 Tablet or certain medical conditions like heart, kidney, liver, or blood vessel diseases, it is important to inform your doctor before use. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should also consult their doctor before taking this supplement. Calten D-500 Tablet can be safe for children under medical guidance. Monitoring calcium levels regularly is recommended to prevent hypercalcemia while using this supplement. It is not advisable for patients with hypervitaminosis D, kidney stones, or conditions that increase calcium levels in the blood and urine. Common side effects may include nausea, vomiting, constipation, excess gas, dry mouth, loss of appetite, and acid reflux, which should be discussed with a healthcare provider if they worsen.
