It is commonly used for the diagnosis or treatment of diarrhea in malnutrition children, folate deficiency , anemia due to folic acid deficiency. It has some side effects such as Bitter taste in the mouth,Bloating,Always consult your physician for the change of dose regimen or an alternative drug of choice that may strictly be required,Allergic rejection. The salts Elemental Zinc, Ferrous Ascorbate, Folic Acid are involved in the preparation of Zincofer Xt Tablet.
