It is commonly used for the diagnosis or treatment of acute chronic hepatitis , accumulation of fluid in brain, accelerate lung maturation and surfactant production in the fetus. It has some side effects such as Acne,Bone marrow depression,Blood disorders,Bones become brittle. The salts Chloramphenicol, Hydrocortisone are involved in the preparation of Q Sap Eye Ointment.
