It is commonly used for the diagnosis or treatment of bacterial infection that spreads from animals to people, infections with severe watery diarrhea , eye infections and gut infection. It has some side effects such as Allergic skin reaction,Bulging of fontanelle,Anorexia,Alteration of thyroid hormone levels. The salts Oxytetracycline are involved in the preparation of Oxytetracycline Skin Ointment.
