It is commonly used for the diagnosis or treatment of bacteria in the blood, infections in intensive care patients , immunocompromised patients. It has some side effects such as Abnormalities in liver or kidney function,Allergic skin reactions,Abdominal pain,Acute renal failure. The salts Cefpirome are involved in the preparation of Nitpirome Injection.
