It is commonly used for the diagnosis or treatment of accelerate lung maturation and surfactant production in the fetus, accumulation of fluid in brain, acute chronic hepatitis . It has some side effects such as Bruising,Acne,Cushing's habitus,Bones become brittle. The salts Hydrocortisone are involved in the preparation of Lycortin S Injection.
