It is commonly used for the diagnosis or treatment of emotional disorders , depression with or without anxiety, behavioral disorders. It has some side effects such as Abnormal milk secretion from breasts,Abdominal pain,Agitation,Abnormal blood counts. The salts Flupenthixol are involved in the preparation of Fluanxol Depot Lundbeck Injection.
