It is commonly used for the diagnosis or treatment of increased requirement of folate in the body during pregnancy , folate deficiency, anemia due to folic acid deficiency. It has some side effects such as Bloating,Constipation,Bitter taste in the mouth,Allergic rejection. The salts Dried Ferrous Sulphate, Folic Acid are involved in the preparation of Ferritop SR Capsule.
