It is commonly used for the diagnosis or treatment of emergency hormonal contraceptive, stops ovaries from releasing eggs, Stops fertilized eggs from attaching itself to womb lining, fertilization of an egg by sperm. It has some side effects such as Headache, Dizziness, Vomiting, Breast pain. The salts Levonorgestrel (1.5mg) are involved in the preparation of I Pill Tablet.
